This charming Vintage French Oil on Panel in fibre-de-bois, brings to life the ambiance of the historic flower market in the square surrounding the Madeleine church in Paris which stands at the end of the fashionable Rue Royale.

Providing an evocative view of mid-century Paris life with all the hustle and bustle of a market. 

In the foreground we see the flower sellers' stands depicted brightly with the red and yellow awnings and some figures milling around amidst the winter trees with the muted portico of the Madeleine above.!
