Set of Two (2) Collectible Japanese Yamaka Octagon Fashion Bone Tea Cups and Saucers featuring a white background with red and gold art deco geometric design.

The base is marked 'Fashion Bone Yamaka International Japan'.

Yamaka is known for its past collaborations with the likes of Givenchy and Cartier, manufacturing fine bone china for the famous fashion houses that included very similar versions of this octagonal design.

About Yamaka

Yamaka began in 1913 by Mr. Kato in Gifu Prefecture, Toki City. It was not until 1966 that they established an American affiliate (International China Company), around the time of the 'Fashion Bone' China.

Today the company trades under the name Yamaka Shoten manufacturing environmentally friendly tableware, and participates in the Green Life 21 Project and among traditional ceramics, produces recycled ceramic tableware.
